Domino Designer / : Symphony Interface to MS-Office Class Library

I beleive there are 100 thousands of application, which would have Lotus Script code interfacing to MS Office COM methods to integrate Notes Document content to a MS Office Document. For any organisation to Adopt Symphony , they would have to migrate all application from MS Office to Sympony. In other words re-write all script library to Symphony interface.

 

It is great that Symphone can open / edit all MS Office documents, but is it possible to execute the MS Word COM interface methods on those doccuments? I think not. So if Lotus can provide a parser which translates all MS Office Methods and properties to Symphony complaince. It would be easy for Org. to adopt Symphone.
